The Group launches MBD Disha - A teacher Capacity Building Program in collaboration with Imagine Education (UK) Ltd. A new initiative designed around research-based practices to enhance the skill-set and knowledge base of the teachers. It is aimed at providing appropriate training and assessment. It will monitor, review, and give feedback that will foster teacher’s commitment for effective teaching and learning process.
MBD has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Skill Development Corporation under Project UDAAN to train and provide jobs to 5000 students today at New Delhi. MBD Skills Division, a part of MBD Group will provide skill development training in the field of IT, ITES & Hospitality, with the aim of bridging the gap between the supply and demand of skilled manpower. MBD has leveraged its in-depth knowledge of the sector to develop cutting edge AR/VR content for the benefit of students. MBD’s high quality and interactive 3D educational AR and VR videos and simulations are aimed at students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 as well as vocational education. The content will becompatible with all leading VR devices like Samsung Gear, Oculus Rift etc, for a hassle free access. Packaged AR & VR contents developed as per latest curriculum will deliver greater engagement in both classrooms and homes of students. The scope for enhanced education using augmented and virtual reality is immense as the medium helps students and learners to become more focused, offers first-person experience and bring subjects to life, which is a huge limitation in the traditional education. Through this initiative of MBD Group, students will now gain an active experience of historic events or view objects and shapes at 3600 which will help them get a better grasp on the subject.

The Group has also successfully established itself in the Hospitality industry through its maiden venture, The Radisson Blu MBD Hotel, Noida (Delhi NCR). Noida’s first 5-star luxury property, the Radisson Blu MBD Hotel, Noida, is fully owned and managed by the MBD Group. The hotel distinctly defined itself as a trendsetter and is a top performing hotel in Delhi NCR.Whether it is a new age or age old interpretation of cuisines, at its award winning restaurants “Made In India” (The Indian Restaurant), “RED” (The Oriental Restaurant) or “S-18” (The 24 hours brasserie) or setting new standards in designer
chocolates and cakes at its pastry shop “The Chocolate Box and Lounge” or its 24 hours spa and fitness club “Espace”.

MBD Group and Steigenberger Hotel Group the largest German chain of hotels and resorts have recently announced a joint venture to manage and franchise hotels under the brand “MBD STEIGENBERGER” for the Indian Territory. MBD Steigenberger brand, in-line with the international positioning of the Steigenberger brand, shall be positioned to target the luxury segment in India, a segment that is expected to grow at an extremely fast pace in India. The association will ensure that German excellence joins hands with the warmth of Indian hospitality providing the next level experience to our guests across the country. MBD Group comes with its key strengths understanding the socio and demographic profile of the country because of our hospitality company and also because of the fact that we are the largest education company in India working across more than 62 locations. The flagship hotel under the JV will be the Zephyr an MBD Steigenberger Hotel and Resorts located in the heart of Whitefield Bengalure - the silicon city of India offering 184 rooms and 118 service apartments, interpreting luxury in the true sense of the word.
